Dauset Trails - By Carmen

This weekend Annley and I went to Georgia to visit my family. Unfortunately, Tyler was supposed to have to work and was not able to make the trip with us. Hopefully he'll be able to come on our next trip.

Saturday we went to Dauset Trails with my aunt, uncle and their 4 boys. Dauset Trails is kind of like a refuge with "local" injured animals only the animals are in cages so people can see them.

Georgia is a very hot and humid place. Luckily the weather was pretty mild during the first half of the trip, after that, we melted like snowmen left out in the sun.

We were able to see several different animals and reptiles. We saw: bobcats, owls, bears, snakes, a mountain lion and some raccoons to name just a few.

Annley loved being outside and took advatange of the light breeze and took a pretty long nap, well, long for her. I had a lot of fun watching the boys (my brothers and cousins) and listening to them talk and joke around. We had a lot of fun with the family and are hoping that we will be able to get together again soon.
