Annley Says

Riding in the car with Nana.

"Nana, I like your earrings." Nana then removes earrings.

 "NANA, YOU HAVE A HOLE IN YOUR EAR! What happened?"

Said while I was playing with Parker's feet.

"Mommy! Don't eat his feet! You have to roast them first!"

Annley is in a Superheroes phase. One night she gave everyone she could see a superhero name.

"Daddy, you are Superman. Mommy, you are Super Woman. Parker is The Flash & Jesse is The Green Lantern." 

Papa walks in.

"Papa you are Aquaman...only you have a circle tummy & Aquaman does not."

After I was done feeding Jesse one day.

"Mommy, I want a bigger chest."

"Honey, you have to grow up a little first."

"Okay, but when I grow up, and my chest gets bigger, I don't want Jesse to try to eat it."

Daddy Time and Play Time

Tyler is one of the busiest people I currently know.  He works 60+ hours a week & works out of town about 2 weeks a month, is going to school full time and teaching guitar lessons on Saturdays. We love getting to spend time with him when we can.

Jesse 4 months

Jesse is now a master roller-overer. He is very loud, loves to laugh and growl.

He doesn't want to be still at ALL. He just wants to go. This week he learned how to scoot a little and grab a lot. Jesse LOVES bath time and kisses, he even kisses back. His favorite people are; me, Tyler and Annley. He likes Parker too but is a little weary and with good reason. Parker is very loving but doesn't know his own strength.

The Plague

The week of Valentine's Day was a horrible week for the whole Kneisly household.

Monday morning, Reese and I woke up sick.

Tuesday, Parker got sick and it was HORRIBLE! Poor guy got hysterical every time he threw up or had a messy diaper. 

Annley, was sick all Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Then Tanner was hit.

Every day we woke up wondering whose turn it was to be sick and each day it was someone new.

All 10 people in the house were sick for 8-24hrs with the exception of Tanner and Parker.

Parker had it the worst! he was sick for 5 days and lost 4lbs.

Valentine's Stuff

This year Annley and Parker both got to participate in Valentine activities.

We baked and decorated cookies.

We did crafts and made Valentine's.

Goldilocks & the Three Bears

Annley, recently participated in a drama class for 5-7 year olds. Annley is 3 years old but was allowed to be part of the class. Annley's favorite part of the class were the warm ups. She loved going through different emotions; angry, happy, sad, scared, surprised.

My favorite part of the class was when Steve, the teacher would ask the kids to come up with characters, and develop the plot, then act it out.  I was so impressed with how well the kids did in doing all that he asked. Steve, was blown away too. He said so on several occasions.

At the end of the class the kids performed "Goldilocks and the Three Bears".  Annley, was Goldilocks.  I wish I would have recorded the dress rehearsal. It went much better than the actual performance. I guess the kids were super excited to be on a real stage.

I hope you enjoy the video. There is only one bear who got to wear a bear costume. The other two costumes went missing the week before the play. 

The last video is of Annley dancing with Baby Bear. Mama Bear, tells them to stop. Annley announced (after I stopped recording) that she was going to marry Baby Bear and then kissed him.

Steve, the teacher loved having Annley in class and said she was a natural.  She even improvised some of the scripts. He said he couldn't even get his Junior High class to do that.
